The Royal Malaysian Police Force: Incident I

My sister’s handbag was snatched the other night. It happens when she was on her way to pick up her car with her boyfriend after a late night dinner. Luckily she and her boyfriend were not hurt seriously. However, this is not what I would like to highlight here today. News on bag snatchers is very common. So ladies, please practice some precautions. Don’t let this happen to you and regret about it later. FYI my sis’s belongings are all gone with her bag, which includes a brand new iPhone 4S. Sigh.

Anyways, what I would like to highlight today was the inefficiency of the Royal Malaysian Police Force (Police DiRaja Malaysia, PDRM). With all due respect, I’m just telling the truth of what happened when my sis went reporting at the police station after the incident. At that moment, her boyfriend was still able to track the whereabouts of the snatch thieves (2 motorcyclists), as my sis always switched on her iPhone’s “locations”. Immediately, they informed the police officers, with a hope that the police is able to help recover the stolen stuff and lock up the 2 snatch thieves.

Guess what were the replies of the police officers?

They asked my sis and her boyfriend to look for the thieves themselves, and call the “Gerakan Khas” police force once they spotted the thieves without alerting the thieves. A telephone number, should be the hotline to the “Gerakan Khas” team, were given to them. My sis & her boyfriend were stunted and stoned.

Sorry for my language but I would just like to say “WTF!”

How dare they ask civilians, whom are with no knowledge on how to pursue criminals, no weapons for protection, to put themselves in such dangerous front? The police officers are trained and well equipped to do such things. Furthermore this time, they do have tips on the whereabouts of the thieves. No more excuses. Yet, this kind of response was given. This is an international huge joke!

In 1829 Sir Richard Mayne wrote:
"The primary object of an efficient police is the prevention of crime: the next that of detection and punishment of offenders if crime is committed. To these ends all the efforts of police must be directed. The protection of life and property, the preservation of public tranquillity, and [at] the absence of crime, will alone prove whether those efforts have been successful and whether the objects for which the police were appointed have been attained."

The efficiency of the Malaysia’s royal police force is in need to be questioned seriously. If they couldn’t protect the lives and properties of us civilians, who are supposed to be responsible for that? Perhaps too many corruptions in the country lead to the happening of such event? Seriously disappointed.

According to a report by The Sun Daily on Oct, 2011, Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced that Malaysia is ranked 19th safest country in the world. I seriously doubt this! I believe there are many more crimes go unreported because the people are sick with the efficiency of our police force. People just don’t bother to report anymore because they know there will be no outcome.

Valentine Surprises II

So we had Valentine’s dinner. Think this is the second time we actually had Valentine’s dinner on Valentine’s Day itself. Haha. Usually we will delay the celebration to another day to avoid being ‘chopped’. But this year is different. Don’t ask me why because I don’t know myself.

Anyways we had our dinner at Saisaki, a Japanese buffet restaurant. Sound familiar? Because it is the sister company of Shogun.

The first round. Super hungryyyy!

Valentine's special dish by Saisaki.
Looked nice! But... weird combination. Imagine fried salmon with strawberry. Urghh..

Babe's favourite dish of the day.
He called it a boat-like sushi

Itadakimasu!

This was how Babe look after being forced to take oyster =D

Before we left Saisaki, it's good to leave our traces here. Bee did it!

Babe got me pressie. Oh well, I kinda of expected it because I know Babe would somehow try to reciprocate. Haha.. But I was surprised anyhow! No, not about Babe giving me something, but the idea of gifts itself! Let's explore...

Very nice on the outside :)

Ohhh.. I see riddles.
Guess someone is trying to imitate me huh.. Hahaha xD

A "Bee Mine" card :)

Of course I felt it Baby.
And your drawings are cuteeee... I'm impressed!

Okay, so the game was on! I was not allowed to unwrap the gifts until I was able to guess what are the contents following the understanding of the riddles. Oh I love to hate this!

First clue, first riddle.

Oh well, what gives life? Oxygen, water? Yeap water! A well and a bucket can hold water. So.. it should be something that hold water. Can you guess what is it?

O.M.G.
This is coolest gift I ever had!
O.M.G.

Yeah.. KOP rules! Absolutely!

Now come the second clue.

Second clue, second riddle.

So.. what's the essence of life? Water again? ... This time I really could not guess what is in it. It turns out to be...

Water tumbler!!

Hahaha! So my fav activity is drinking water. So these are just the right thing for me!

And the last piece... And the funniest gift of all!

Third clue, third riddle.

Ahhaha! Biotherm! "How romantic is this!"
Anyways thanks. I can save the money. =D

LOL. Anyways, it's a memorable Valentine. Will treasure all my gifts especially the Liverpool's cup and water tumbler! =D

Valentine Suprises I

It's Valentine's day! A day for all the love birds to celebrate their love and affection for each others.

I guess many of us knew that the word Valentine was derived from the name of Saint Valentine. But who exactly is this mysterious saint? Rumour has it that when Emperor Claudius II forbade men to marry to make them better soldiers, Valentine defied the orders and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. Upon discovering Valentine's actions, Claudius put him to death on 14th February, 270 A.D.

Instead or mourning for Saint Valentine, this day is celebrated in memory of this heroic person, and live the beliefs that he died for.

And I have just the perfect gift idea for my Babe. :) (which I gave him on the eve of Valentine)

Nope.
Not this 'empty' Prego bottle with a scroll of love letter.
I've prepared a few riddles for Babe to work for his Valentine's gift.

Firstly, he had to open up the scroll of paper attached to the Prego bottle.

Let's see what says the first riddle.

Are you able to figure where to look for the treasure? Haha. The next clue is in the Prego bottle. That's the reason the scroll is attached to the Prego bottle on the first place. Babe should look for the next clue that is hidden in the bottle within a mess of recycled papers.

Ta-da! Babe found the second clue.
Easy right?

The second riddle sounds as such...

So Babe was allowed to chose a weapon of his choice, to prepare himself to fight with the vicious beasts. And let's see what he chose...

His iPhone! *Sweat*
He thought this was a brilliant weapon because he needed the light on his phone to find things in the dark. Wookay... Well justified!

Looking up

Looking down

Because the riddle said that the next clue will be 'voiced' at the fall of the beast, Babe straight away went looking for dark places near the stereo and TV. Oh well... he was looking at the wrong place. I think the word 'voiced' did misled him a bit. But oh well, I wanted only for the riddle to rhyme.

Finally after some hints...

Babe found the beasts in a dark room.
Of which was the only room I purposely left the light switched off.

The beasts. *wink*

Now the next clue reveal itself once the beasts are defeated. I guess Babe regretted his choice of weapon, should have chose something more like a weapon than iPhone larh...

So he killed all the beast using his mighty feet.

And found the next clue.

The third riddle.
I did promise it will get tougher. Haha.

So now Babe's IQ was tested. Actually many of us have done this puzzle. But whether you still remember how to do it is a question. Let's try solving this.

Trying left

Try right

After a few attempts and a few minutes gone...

Hahaha! He did it!
Look at his gag-face! O.m.g.

Oh he really tried hard :)

He got his next and last clue from me. Just a step more to getting his Valentine's gift! Excited! :)

The fourth riddle

It's easy. Where do you usually rest? Most common answer would be on the bed and there's no difference with where Babe usually rest. So the gift lies just on the bed. But it's on the west side of the bed.

From now onwards, there will be a row of photos showcasing Babe's expression when he finally got his Valentine's gift.

This is him feeling touched. Ahaha! xD

Time to unwrap the gift darling! :)

Hahaha. Funny expressions he has. That's why I love him so much! :)

He got an Adidas mi Coach Speed Cell Tracker.

Always wanted it!

Happy Valentine's Day my love one. You are my everyday Valentine. :) <3

Babe and the baloon monster. Rawr!
