A Week Full of Celebration III

10/29

Ahhh... Another long awaited day!! At last, MJ's "This Is It" is shown on screen!! Being MJ's big fans, how could we miss it?! We booked the tickets a week earlier hoho... XD

I feel GREAT!

The MJ wannabe~! XD *thumbs up*
(^.^)V
Okay, compare the previous pic and this, notice any difference?
The heights! T_T

After seeing the footage in This Is It... (I'm not gonna do a review here, as you can google it and get an overwhelming numbers of it)... all I wanna say is that... I was awed~! I was like, if MJ was still alive and the ambitious concert in London was to actually kick start the King of Pop's comeback tour, it would be... so... magnificent!!

I admit, at times you could see him struggling to stay on top of this hugely demanding show, and he seems frail. Yet his ever-burning enthusiasm and energy is so overwhelming, it makes that okay, like it doesn't matter. It was beautiful... especially the scene where a child was playing in lush forest and she fell asleep, just to woke up in a fiercely burning forest... Somewhere in that crimson hell, she noticed a shoot sprung out from the soil (a metaphor for 'hope' I think). As any innocent child would, she ran with all her might to save that young plant from an unforgiving bulldozer, which was about to ram over her... *and bangs* MJ stands in front of the bulldozer, stopping it from its evil deeds... and he sang the Earth Song... Beautiful... His message was heartfelt.

But anyway, having to see the making of a concert in a cinema is vastly different from being in the concert itself. There were no screaming, no singing along, no 'steam'... you knew what I meant... But nonetheless, MJ...

He is a undeniable talent, a glimmer.
He is 50, and still kicking ass!
HE IS , and forever will be, A THRILLER!

Sera, signing off~! ^.^
